~A character is publicly outed against their will, and there is some discussion of depression and mental health throughout. A character's vision is actively deteriorating as the story progresses and spends time grieving the change. I did as much research as was feasible, and any mistakes are my own.
archive warning notes for "when a fox turns one thousand"
This fic is overall positive in tone and relatively light. A character does pass away of old age in their sleep with zero regrets, and I'd say the ending is bittersweet.
